Our Role as a Service Provider (to businesses)
When you transact with a business through our Service (e.g., reservation), we collect information on the business's behalf and share the necessary details with that business to fulfill your request. We do not use such data outside our service-provider role except as disclosed here or with your direction.
Our Service Providers
We work with processors for hosting, analytics, messaging, moderation, payments, security, support, ad delivery/measurement, and other functions. Where required, they are bound by contracts to process personal information only on our instructions and consistent with applicable law.
Managing Your Personal Information
Public contributions (reviews, photos, lists, check-ins) can identify you. You may reduce identifiability by limiting profile details or using a handle, but public credibility may be affected. Some discovery features (e.g., "Find Friends") can be limited in Account Settings.
Messages are private only to the extent that senders and recipients keep them private. We may access and disclose messages as permitted in this Policy (e.g., safety, legal requests, abuse prevention).
Artificial Intelligence
We use machine learning and other AI technologies to:
- Analyze content for ranking, recommendations, translations, and summaries
- Power features like AI chat/assistants, automated answers, and moderation
- Detect fraud/spam and policy violations
- Improve and develop the Service
Where required, we obtain consent (e.g., for certain cookies or precise location). We do not rely solely on automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human review where required by law.
Account Closure and Data Retention
Instructions to close your account are available on the settings tab. When closed, some public contributions may remain visible (e.g., anonymized attribution where feasible), but we dissociate your profile where possible.
We retain information as needed for the purposes in this Policy and as permitted or required by law (e.g., security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups).
You can request deletion via our support team at support@qollum.com
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or older where local law applies). European Residents must generally be 18+ to use the Service. Quebec residents must be 14+. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take steps to remove it and terminate the account.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use caution when sharing information publicly.
